Introducing Myself in English: A Brief Insight into My Personality and Background
Hello, everyone! My name is Jane and I am delighted to have the opportunity to introduce myself. I’m thrilled to be here and share a brief insight into my personality and background.
I was born and raised in Bangalore, India. I come from a family of six – my parents, a sister, a brother, and myself. Growing up, I was always fascinated by books, music and animals. I was always eager to learn new things and discover new places. I was also a bit of a tomboy, enjoying outdoor activities such as football and cricket.
Currently, I am twenty-two years old, and I am pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. The reason behind choosing psychology was because I wanted to understand more deeply the complexities of human behaviour and the way our minds work. I am extremely passionate about this field, and I have always been curious about how we make decisions and perceive the world around us.
Apart from my academic interests, music is a huge part of my life. I have always loved singing and playing the guitar, and I find that music always helps me relax and unwind. I also love reading books – I can spend hours on end lost in a good book, especially if it’s a mystery, romance or a thought-provoking novel.
When it comes to my personality, I believe that I am someone who is approachable, empathetic and dependable. I take great pride in fostering meaningful relationships and building a sense of community wherever I go. I believe that it's essential to be kind, respectful, and compassionate towards others.
In terms of my long-term goals, I aspire to become a licensed psychologist, helping people with their mental health and emotional issues. I would also love to become a published author and share my knowledge and experiences through my writing.
In conclusion, I feel privileged to have shared a bit of myself with you today. I’m grateful to have this platform to be able to introduce myself in English and give you a brief glimpse into my life.
